NewsDate: Feb 25, 2010 7th place with a chance for 5th
As the season closes and with a playoff birth in hand, the final two games can mean 7th place or 5th place for the Empire Junior B Penguins. The Pens went 2-1 last weekend with a split with the Brewster Bulldogs and a win against The Elmira Jackals. The goal scoring was spread across the team and lead by Ben Hanus (5), Jarrett Ruchka (3), Jayson Angus (2). Julian Rizza (2), Tyler Fitzgerald (2), Nico Vecchio (2), and Patrick Schafer, Shane Daugherty, Nolan Tombetta, and Chad White each with one.
