Jr Vengeance Tiered Approach

The Jr Vengeance provide area student athletes an opportunity to develop their skills through a tiered program of teams.  Each of our teams is significant to the player interested in competing at a more challenging level but on a par with regard to size, strength and like skill.

This approach ensures that each player is competing at the highest level of capability while still being challenged to take his game to the next level. With the Jr Penguins, each player maximizes his opportunity to accelerate his advancement to the Junior ranks.

FOR THE 2012 SEASON, our tiered approach begins with our Midget U16 & U18 Hybrid teams.  These teams will register with the Renegades whom we share an ice contract with at the Blade Runners Ice Complex in Harmarville.  Our Jr A staff will administer the Hybrid teams again this seaosn for the Renegades (formerly the Amateur Penguins).

Our Hybrid program affords the better younger Midget Minor and Midget Major age players a chance to compete at a competitive level while preparing for a higher level of hockey.  Our Midget players test their skills against competition locally and throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions and some will advance to our Flagship Jr A Vengeance team.

Our Midgets will compete in the National Junior Prospects Hockey League (NJPHL) where they be introduced to some events where there will be scouting opportunities.  Fromthere, some will advance and have tan opportunity to be part of our partnering and procurement arrangement within the NAHL Network.

Our Jr A  team compets at the highest level tuition based level in the Nation and in a league that is a direct feeder to the Tier II Jr A NAHL.  These are the region's top players along with some out-of-town prospects we house who are eager to advance their hockey careers.  They do this by competing in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) where they get exposure throughout the Midwest where the NAHL competes.

You can view news specific to each of our Program teams by clicking on the teams page tab to the left.  As we begin to add the Hybrid teams, we'll set up links that point to the Renegades web site once that is up and running.

The NAHL Network

The Jr Penguins membership in the NAHL Network will undoubtedly ensure that more players will be scouted especially at the NAHL sponsored showcase events which are expected to result in more tenders and draft opportuinities for our players.

Through the NAHL's procurement system, the Jr Penguins will focus on player advancemment to the NAHL which has a long-held reputation as a fertile ground for collegiate prospects.

The NAHL continues to be a trendsetter in fulfilling its mission to develop Junior, Midget and High School players for collegiate and professional hockey success.  In fact, several NAHL alums are making a profound impact in NCAA and even NHL programs.

Their sponsored Showcase and Top Prospects Tournaments enable one-stop shopping for hordes of college and pro scouts to see some of the continent's most promising Midget and Junior-aged talent.

Our players receive further exposure through our live Webcasts of our home games plus all NA3HL and NAPHL event games presented by FASTHockey.  Also, through comprehensive Point Streak statistics and timely game reports, our web promotes the teams' and players' on-ice achievements.
